Mary started Centex Music after resigning from her elementary music teacher position after 5 years. She loves teaching music but was getting so burnt out for many, many reasons. These family classes were supposed to be her “retirement plan” but that started sooner than expected.

From the very beginning of her music education career, she knew that she wanted to do early childhood/elementary music because she is so fascinated by how children grow to be musical. And her interest in early childhood music only grew more intense when she became a mom!

she loves sharing what she does with families and showing how they can bring music into their lives in meaningful and relevant ways.
